Our new state-of-the-art PoolPak dehumidification system includes heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. It monitors and improves the quality and comfort of our indoor pool environment. We know that today, this is more important than ever.

At Njswim, we take teaching children to swim seriously. But that doesn’t mean we don’t make swim lessons fun! Just visit our aquatic center and you’ll see the joy on the children’s faces as they enjoy the water and master their new swimming skills.
Our focus is to always match a child’s development to their swim lessons. Our swim students don’t work to earn stickers or badges. They simply enjoy working on their skills as their teacher closely monitors their progress.
Our highly trained teachers know when it’s time to move their student on to the next level of learning. We know each child is a unique individual who learns and progresses at their own rate.
Children Benefit from Trained and Certified Swim Teachers
At Njswim, your child learns to swim from our highly trained teaching professionals. All teachers are fully trained and certified lifeguards. We also require that they have certification in CPR.
Your child will have the same teacher every week. Children need and thrive with consistency. And we know that. Your child will come to lessons relaxed, knowing what to expect and exactly whom they will work with that day.
At our swim school, your child develops a relationship of trust with their teacher. And you too will get to know your child’s swim teacher and feel comfortable talking about your child’s progress or any concerns.
If a teacher can’t attend class on a particular day, we always have a qualified substitute available. Njswim has never canceled a class in 22 years because there is no teacher available.
Our Entire Staff Is Always Looking Out for Your Child
There is always a lifeguard present for every class, as well as a deck supervisor. This is in addition to your child’s teacher. So, you know your child is being watched by not one, but several sets of eyes at all times.

Our Learn to Float Philosophy
At Njswim, our philosophy is that children should “learn to float.”
This encourages our students to understand their buoyancy, which helps them gain confidence in the water.
Children learn to work with the water; not against it. They learn that water is not to be feared, but to be respected and understood. Learning to swim becomes more natural and relaxed.
How We Structure Njswim Classes
We know children thrive best in small swim classes. For this reason, we limit our group lessons to only three students per teacher.
Njswim offers a rolling membership so your child can keep their swim teacher, date, and time of instruction as they progress through our program. Of course, we always offer the flexibility of changing to another date or time.
New members can jump in at a time that works with their own busy schedule.
We also offer an intensive summer swim program. Students can meet on five consecutive days per week for ten one-week sessions. Each session is about 30 minutes.
